An initiative of Lisburn City Community Trust the ‘Social Supermarket’ is a ‘more than food’ scheme aimed at tackling food poverty throughout the nation.
The scheme addresses physical as well as the practical and emotional issues related to food poverty. Members can gain access to reduced cost food, as well as professional support and personal development programmes to kick-start positive change in their lives.
We created a clean and simple brand identity using two ‘leaf’ shapes in the formation of a heart. This signifies the ‘more than food’ aspect of the initiative... a healthy body, healthy mind and healthy heart. The green colour palette ties in with ‘Inspire Cafe’ (another initiative of LCC Community Trust) and also represents growth.
The client was delighted with the simplicity of the logo along with the tie in colour scheme and font family to the umbrella Community Trust.
